2. Catherine Helen Spence - Born on October 31, 1825, in Melrose, Scotland, Catherine Helen Spence became a prominent Australian author, teacher, journalist, and political campaigner. She settled in South Australia in 1839 and actively participated in the suffragette movement, advocating for women's rights. Spence's notable works include "Clara Morison: A Tale of South Australia During the Gold Fever" and "Mr. Hogarth's Will."

3. Mary Lee - Born on June 19, 1821, in England, Mary Lee was a prominent suffragette and social reformer who played a pivotal role in campaigning for women's rights in South Australia. She moved to Adelaide in 1879 and established herself as a leader in social justice issues. Lee's efforts led to the granting of voting rights for women in South Australia in 1894.
